Quotation alignment: Equipment scope
Equipment scope for this brief is the reducing valve plus only those station items the buyer names: strainer, sensing line, isolation, gauges, downstream relief or expansion control. Manufacturers should restate body, trim and elastomer against the fluid. A water pressure reducing valve drawing does not authorize a steam or hydraulic-oil quote unless compatibility evidence is attached. Throughput here means regulated flow rate at the stated inlet and set-pressure pair, not a brochure pipe size. Duty cycle matters when the valve sees frequent start-up or low-flow hunting. Read inlet and flow notes before circulating the pack.
